Company Overview
Our company owner is Amy Hedrick. Amy was raised in Mount Morris, lived in Genesee County her entire life, and still resides in the area. Amy has been involved in our tax business for 18 years.
Our complete office staff has over 100 years combined experience in the tax field with our supervisor, James Bowers, having 43 years experience personally. James originally enrolled in business school, but eventually spent several years in retail management. The long hours, low pay, and lack of mental stimulation forced him to look for a new career.
James met Mr. L.J. Tadrick and the rest is history. L.J. was the greatest mentor ever and James still abides by much of what L.J. taught him. If it’s not broke, don’t fix it. Unfortunately, Mr. Tadrick passed away in 1989.
One thing that L.J. taught James was to take pride in the finished product. L.J. spent many years reviewing each and every return until his business grew to epic proportions. James did the same thing. He reviewed every single return that passed through the office. James still oversees much of the company’s operations. Like Mr. Ford learned over 100 years ago, he could not build all his automobiles alone; it took a team. The business has grown from 200 clients to over 2500 through the years. It took a great team, as one person could not possibly do everything himself.
We have all been blessed to make many friends through this business and have met some of the most interesting people we could have ever dreamed of. None of this would have been possible without you. We all hope this trend continues for many years to come.
Our preparers attend some type of tax seminar each year. We make every attempt to insure all employees are well informed and educated prior to each tax season. There are always some changes from year-to-year. If you think you can become a tax expert by using that T-Tax program or others, you are really missing out. We have seen on recent national T-Tax commercials many grossly incorrect and/or incomplete statements regarding deductions. Please remember, an online tax program cannot speak to you, can’t advise you, can’t explain why your refund is down from last year, and most importantly, it can’t represent you in case of an audit. We do all this within our office. We also provide bookkeeping and payroll services. We can advise our clients in many areas.
All of our returns are E-filed. There are many options on how you can receive your refund. We offer every option feasible, and cost effective, for our clients.
Although we strive to get every client the largest refund possible, we still work under very strict and ethical guidelines. We will not do anything illegal or unethical. We provide logbooks and other materials to insure your return is accurate and does not raise questions with the IRS.
It has always been our policy that we make every attempt to honor client requests to see a specific preparer. We always try to oblige whenever possible. After all, good customer relations is what built this business and good customer relations will keep it growing. We can’t please everyone every time, but we will continue to try.
Due to the ongoing national health-specific issues, preparer availability may be reduced this tax season. However, we are providing you with many options for your tax return preparation and pick-up procedures. Please review our Wellness Guidelines on this website for more information.
You may still contact our office in person, via e-mail (ashtaxsolutions79@gmail.com), by fax (810-687-9076), or by phone (810-687-9014). We look forward to serving your needs and we hope to meet many new clients this year. Be safe and God’s blessing to everyone!
